If I buy a used MBP, what is the oldest I should get?

I will use it for graphic design, 3D design and rendering, video editing and music production, editing.

The mid-2012 15" rMBP is the oldest you should get. 13" wouldn't do, you need the quad core i7 in the 15".

Also, you should preferably get one with a discrete GPYU (650M or 750M) and 16GB of RAM (if you can afford it).
