I go to college so portability is needed,

I mainly use my laptop for Photoshop, Facebook, and Listening to music.

so I'm wondering whether the;
13" 2.26ghz with 4GB RAM + 250GB HDD
or the
13" 2.53ghz with 4GB RAM + 250GB HDD

but I'm also considering whether the screen will be large enough for using Photoshop so maybe the low end 15" (but this may be a little out of budget for me :\)

The laptop I use atm is a Toshiba Equium A300D, running Vista, 2.00ghz, 2GB RAM, 200GB HDD - and I manage fine with it but I've always wanted a Mac.

your views are much appreciated, thanks.

I recommend playing with the 13" & 15" MBP's at the Apple store if possible. I know the price difference is quite significant, but for me the 13" screen doesn't have enough vertical space. I opted for the 15" based on that. There will be some great deals in the coming weeks, check the AppleInsider.com price guide before you purchase.

Good luck!

go 2.26, the 2.53 will not yeild much of a performance difference,

you have the 9400m in the 13" which will assist you in your photoshop.

the 13" is portable, screen, keyboard are great,

the whole system is a fantastic experience.

you will not regret it!

i would invest in the 2.26 and maybe upgrade your hdd to ssd or upgrade your ram.

good luck!

thanks for the replies, I never even thought about going in the Apple store and having a look myself, how stupid of me lol!

thanks.
