I am wanting a laptop for my primary computer. The 13" is too small for my liking and would prefer a dedicated graphics card. I found two late 2008 Models one with 256 and other with 512. 150 dollar difference between the two. I will more than likely be keeping this for 2-3 years. At most I use it for is internet, email, watching DVD's, video encoding and possibly some light gaming. I don't know much about graphics cards really. Mainly wanting the extra screen real estate cause I usually have multiple windows open at once.

Which should I buy?

You will never, in the life of your computer say "damn, I put too much video memory in that thing". 512.

Get the 2.53. It has 6 Mb of L2 cache vs. the 2.4 machine which has 3 Mb L2. You'll see some performance gains in power.
