Well personally, I think the better screen, 7 hour battery, backlit keyboard, FW port, and faster processor all add up to that 200 dollars. So for me, it would be worth it to get the new one.
 
no brainer..new one..if u hav the $200 that is..but i think its a small fee to b up to date and everything DeusInvictus7 said. i personally just purchased the new mid 15" model and am lovin life. bsides everyone wants a pro..no? lol :rolleyes:
 
With only a $200 difference, the new one is an easy choice. $400 might be more difficult.
 
That new battery setup is really nice, I love it. The better screen is also a big plus. Just thinking how, in the past, that I have been very frustrated when I ran out of battery power. I vote to spend the $200

I have to agree, the better battery, backlit and FW port are all great benefits and just make it an even better computer.

sign up for a class at a community college and get the educational discount... so the difference is tiny.
