I'm trying to decide on a monitor for my macbook... also might use the monitor for my xbox 360 and or dvd as well as just a display..

i have narrowed it down to

HP W2207H 22' or the Acer AL2216Wbd 22" LCD Monitor

i am assuming both of these would be to set up and use?

thanks any help would be great

HP w2207h monitor not compatible with MAC computers

If you're a stickler for details you'll notice that the w2207h HP monitor is not great with a MAC computer. I just spoke with HP tech support and there are no drivers for MAC for the monitor and the monitors are not supported or recommended for MACs. Photos, movies and visual stuff looks great on the monitor, but if you have good eye sight, you'll notice that any lettering looks like it would on a standard TV. Very few dots per inch and the letters are broken and sometimes difficult to read -- definitely difficult on the eyes. HP said there's nothing that can be done about it -- it's not meant for MAC computers. Anyone recommend a good monitor other than an Apple that works good? I've used other brands in the past like Proview which worked great, but can't find that brand any more.
