Which monitor cable do i need?

So why i wait patiently for my nMP to arrive ive finally decided on a Dell U2713H monitor which has displayport and minidisplayport inputs. Which cable do i need to get video out of my nMP into the monitor?

From what ive read a TB to TB cable is no good and should be looking at a MDP to MDP such as this:

According to the Dell site the U2713H comes with a mini display port to display port cable which should work, connect Mini display port to the computer, display port to the monitor. Check under the U2713H tech specs what's in the box listing.

Awesome, thanks. Had only been looking at a Refurb one until today which was noted as some display cables missing but have decided to go new for the warranty.

OldCodger is correct, I have a dell U2711 and I use a display port to mini display port cable. My monitor did not come with that cable I had to buy it separate. Dp to the monitor and MDP to the video card.
