Which monitor to buy???

Hi

I am looking at buying myself a monitor for my laptop (MB, upgrading to MBP or MBA next year) i am at boarding school so don't have much money around £120 (about $200) i was looking on eBay at old apple cinema displays or should i go and get a new one from amazon.

I use FCPX a fair bit for editing and i am using iPhoto more and more, also basic uses e.g. web surfing, pages docs

Hope you can help, any suggestions would be great.

If it were me, and with your budget, I wouldn't buy a used monitor. You could probably do well to find a new one in your price range.
