Now that Apple introduced just 24" iMacs I think the time has come as my Late 2014 27" screen seems to get worse (ghost image problem).
I'm not going with new iMac and I just have to choose a monitor for a Mac Mini M1 but I'm reading a lot of new terms like "looks like", "standard/original" about resolution and a lot of threads about PPI, that's why I need your help.

I'm not a pro, just an enthusiast, some programming, playing around with VMs, few editing with DaVinci, managing iPhone photos with Photo.app, Affinity and Photoscape and little playing with Apple Arcade.
In my mind the best monitor is:
  • as big as mine, maybe 32"
  • 4K resolution (5K is a "no go" as it would cost too much)
  • Crisp and clear
  • I "must" use a webcam so I think that it would be better with an integrated USB hub
  • Costs less than 700€ (I'm from Italy)
Thanks.

Unfortunately anything that meets your bullet points is going to be noticeably less crisp than your existing iMac.

"Real" desktop Retina (~220 PPI) is the sweet spot for macOS's rendering model. It's why for example Apple have to seek out a bizarre "4.5K" panel for the new iMac (4480x2520 at 23.5" is 218 PPI).

Thank you Frou,
I know that every other display will not be as crisp as the current 5K.
Let's say crisp as much is possible for a 4K 😄

Then you want the smallest 4K/UHD monitor you can find. The original 21.5" UltraFine 4K (218 ppi) is as crisp as the 5K, followed by 24" UHD (185 ppi). Forget about 31.5" UHD (136 ppi).
