I need a mouse for my PB cause i can't stand the touchpad sometimes.
So I'm thinking between the
1) Logitech MX500 Optical Mouse
2) MouseMan Dual Optical

THe only difference is that the MX500 has the "MX Optical Engine". BUT the other one (2) has DUAL optical.
So I dont know..which one...

Dual definitely.

Myself I use a Kensington Pocketmouse Pro for my PB as portability is key for me. The retractable cable and the size of it were what won me over.

I know Kensington has a cordless version, but that introduces battery issues, both for the PB as it has to power an RF tranceiver, and the batteries for the Mouse itself. No thanks.

If you piorities are functionality over portability, the Dual is an excellent choice. However, I'd recommend the Kensington if portability is a need.

I have the Logitech MX 500 and I love it. I've never used a dual optical so I can't speak against it. I will tell you that the MX500 is a great mouse. If the dual is a great one as well you can't really lose can you? Just make sure to try them out on your hand and see if comfort is going to be an issue.
