Which multifunction printer to buy?

Can you recommend a good lower-end multifunction printer? I need printer/copier/fax.

I'm considering:
Epson Stylus CX6900F
Brother MFC-240C

I've used a Brother MFC,and it worked fine. Good printing, but not so good photos- very dark and grainy. Brother makes good drivers. However, going forward, I'd buy anything Canon. Good product, good price point, good ink and most of all, good images, both photo and print.
