Sorry for what seems a stupid question. I ordered 2 iPhones (one for me and one for my wife) via Apple for delivery "by Friday". I had to do a separate order for each of us. However, I don't remember whether I ordered mine, or my wife's first. Will it matter not knowing which phone is which, on on activation via iTunes, or do I assign the number/user of each iPhone then? Or will each phone come with the assigned number/account I am upgrading?

no i wont matter......just stick your sim in and activate via itunes and your good to go

It won't matter. Just put your SIM card in one and your wife's in the other and you're good to go.

Sorry for being an iPhone NOOB - but my wife and I have pre-smartphones. Do I just pop in my RAZR SIM, and then activate?

Actually, I don't think you even need to move the SIM. When I got my 3G, all I had to do is specify which phone was being replaced by phone number and iTunes did the rest.

Thanks for the help. While I am quite Mac savvy, this iPhone stuff has me fumbling, preparing, pacing, and sweating like a virgin on prom night. Can't wait for the afterglow on Saturday AM. :D

I'm a HP fanatic and even I am impressed by the functionality of the iPhone. My wife toyed with getting another type of phone for a while and she finally settled with an updated iPhone because no other phone was as simple to use.
