which is the better monitor/deal, the dell 22" widescreen flat panel for $276 or the dell 20" widescreen ultra-sharp for $359? is the $83 worth the ultra-sharp? also, if somebody knows of a better monitor/deal let me know.

thanks

There are actually 3 monitors in this range to consider.

The 22" E228WFP is the same resolution as the other 2, just larger pixels. I would not get this monitor as there are no benefits to the overall resolution and accessories.

The other 2 have identical panels and are differentiated by their accessories. The $359 display you mentioned is the 2007WFP and is a very good monitor. It includes card readers and S-video and composite inputs to use it as a screen for game systems and external players. The E207WFP is a model that uses the same panel and does not include these extras and is significantly cheaper ($229). If you do not need the card readers and extra inputs, I suggest looking into the E207WFP.

Also, keep an eye on the deal sites as the Dell monitors often have special discounts. http://dealmac.com and http://techbargains.com are two places to look.
