This is what I want:

- High Quality in-ear phones
- Control of calls and music (including volume and skipping tracks)
- $100-$150 (street price)

These are the options I have found:

1) Etymotic ER-6i
It has the "original" same controls as the new iPod shuffle headphones if I see it right. So that's the iPhone controls + volume (but no VoiceOver I guess)
2) Future Sonic FS1
Same thing, but with more bass.
3) Etymotic HF-2
Based on the ER-4P, which is a great (and expensive) headphone. More bulky controls though, and no volume control.
4) Control with a 3.5mm jack for use with any headphone. Like the Griffin SmartTalk (but this one only has one control-knob) or Navigate (very nice, but a bit bulky and I heard it adds noise). Moreover, I'm afraid such a "double" solution will cause audio-quality loss (and two different cables and styles don't look very neat).
5) Something else

So what do you think? Maybe there are other headsets I missed?

From the list, I tend to the HF2, since it's only $20 more expensive than the ER-6i. I'll miss the lack of volume control though...

By the way, what's up with the Etymotic/Future Sonic and Ultimate Buds double naming for the same product?
