I would go with the BenQ. It is a higher resolution 1920x1080 versus 1680x1050. It also has an HDMI connector, so you could plug in a cable/satellite box, game console or other HD media device.

However for $250 you can get this ASUS which has extremely good customer reviews, a larger screen 23.6" and it has SPDIF output. So you can take the audio from the HDMI and send it to a surround receiver.

Both Appear to be TN displays, which frankly is pretty bad for colour accuracy.

About the only thing they are *really* good at is gaming and being cheap.
