Which of these refurbished MacBooks?

Hi,

I have a choice of 2 refurbished macbooks, the original aluminium macbook 2.4GHZ for $1049, or the Macbook Pro 2.26GHZ for $1349. Both are 13" and in Australian Dollars.

They both seem to have the same specs?

I need advice!

Get the 13" MacBook Pro. It has RAM upgradability to 8GBs vs the MacBook only has the capability of up to 4GBs. The MacBook Pro has an SD card slot and Firewire 800. The MacBook Pro also has a 7 hour battery life. The screen has 60% better color gamut.

The MacBook Pro is also a newer system than the MacBook.

I would go for the pro... better battery life, newer model, more ram allowable, firewire, and sd card slot

For me, the loss of a firewire port in the MacBooks is a dealbreaker...
