I just ran the "find duplicates" part of the new WhatSize app and have come across this interesting puzzle.
I have a folder in my Documents folder where I drop various files that I want to read in iBooks either on my Mac or my iPad. It's called innocuously enough "iBooks Collection". The duplicates list shows the originals in this folder but they are duplicated in ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.BKAgentService/Data/Documents/iBooks/Books/
I'm wondering if deleting the instances in my "iBooks Collection" folder will have an adverse affect on the books in the BKAgent hierarchy, which I assume is where iBooks stores content.
I'm using a late 2012 Mac Mini running OSX 10.10.2
I'm really on a housekeeping jag so any helpful tip would be greatly appreciated.
thanks!
