which one am i getting ? series 1 or 2 ?

Hello,

ive recently brought an apple watch, from a catalogue,

its did states which watch it was, series 1 or 2,

i ordered it on the 2nd september, before series 2 was announced,

after reading this link today on 9to5mac, https://9to5mac.com/2016/09/19/top-new-apple-watch-series-1-series-2-features-video/?pushup=1

it states half way down that only series 2 comes with a woven strap ?

is this true ?

if this is the case.. how on earth did the the catalogue have the watch ive brought on the 2nd september,

That is the first generation Apple Watch Sport. Aka Series 0 & Gen 1.

So in a nutshell, you aren't getting a Series 1 or Series 2 device. If you paid 349 quid for it, you should probably return it as I believe you can get a Series 1 for 299 in the UK.

so just to clarify, does the series 1 also come with a woven strap as an option ?

the 9to5 post which i added, stated that only the series 2 comes with this option,

Unfortunately, Series 2 is the only one offered with a woven strap in the box. But if it's a difference of 349(S0) vs 299(S1), you could pick up a woven strap for I believe it's 50 quid in the UK.

thanks again for the reply, well this is my query,

i ordered this item on the 2nd of sep, it states it comes with a woven strap, from the link i provided below,

how could they be advertising this on the 2nd sep if series 2 hadn't been released yet ?
