Which one is cooler, macbook, macbook pro or IMac?

My gf is coming in and visit me from law school next week . I already bought my beloved macbook, but I was wondering which laptop or imac impresses girls the most? tell me what you think.

Personally I love my macbook, but I think macbook pro kinda give a cooler, "I know what I am doing" professional vibe, therefore chicks dig it more.

I would guess that a macbook air has the biggest wow factor to the uninformed.

I am used to it now but it still has that wow factor. Not as easy to carry around as a Macbook though

MBA has to be the coolest Mac out there at the moment, though. Followed by the iPhone. (It runs OS X. It is a Mac.)

I agree that to those who don't know very much about Macs, the Macbook Air is the most appealing look wise. But I really don't see why you would spend so much money to buy a new computer just to impress your gf Why not spend the $1000+ on her instead? Think of all the things you could buy her and restaurants you could take her to with that money instead. lol Just my 2 cents, unless you plan on giving it to her?

The MacBook Pro is cool because it's elegant and professional.
The MacBook Air is cool because it's portable and stylish.
I simply can't decide, I love them all.

I think i got a case of buyer's remorse. now if there is a uber macbook pro, like 13inch and metal body....but not underpowered like macbook air.

Er... Considering I've had a 12" PB, 12" iBook, 20" iMac rev. B, 20" alum iMac, white MB, and within a month, an MBA?

Hm... I think any woman with any sense will "dig" any Mac in nice condition. Though, lately, I've leaned more towards portables. Really love the backlit KB of the MBP, but like the smaller footprint and feel of the MB (and its KB).



So I'd say go for either the MB or MBP.

The white MacBook appeals more to girls (myself included) because it looks fresh and hip, and white is not a colour that appears on any other computer (except for the previous gen. iMac), so it's unique. The MacBook Pro is good because it's got a bigger screen, and it looks more professional. The MacBook Air is also appealing because it's thin.

Of course, you could still take that extra step and do a paint job on your portable mac to make it look extra special:

Hey, 15" ain't nothing to sneeze at, either! It's the 13"ers and below that couldn't even past the "entry" test!
