Okay I need some real world advice.
I’m currently on sprint- please hold back with the pitchforks and rock tossing- and using an iPhone Se which I have had since it came out and even though it’s only 16gb I am not a power user so it’s working fine at the moment.
Being as I’m going Hal blind in my mid life crisis I have been wanting to get a bigger phone and can get a good deal on the 6s plus 128gb or a 7 plus with 32gb. Both about the same price within $20 of each other.
I have watched plenty of YouTube videos and was plenty of comparisons and have come to these two with each having pluses and minuses.
The 6s plus- lots of storage but the battery slow down issues I’m not wanting to be involved with.
The 7 plus- I like it and don’t mind the headphone jack being what it is/isn’t but the 32gb has me a little concerned as the iOS updates just keep hogging up more space.
I like to keep a phone for 2 to 4 years and would intend to do so with whatever one I get I just don’t know if the 6s would still be viable in that timeframe.
So I ask here as I know there are some very intelligent people who have much more experience with these things than I do and appreciate any help and advice you have to offer.

Ask yourself what do you think your storage needs would be? Above 32 GB or below? If you think you would require additional storage over 32 GB, then you're clear choice would be the 6S Plus. But the 6S should see at least two more years of iOS updates.

And as far as the battery concerns with the 6S Plus, at most it would cost you $29 when Apple has fulfilled more stock.
