Which one should i buy?

Never bought of the refurb site. so was hoping to get some insight on someone who has.

looking at the new macbook pro 13" 2.4 for $1,199

or

2nd one seems better, price and performance. but refurb.

That second one is the exact computer that I'm going to be buying in a few days (unless Apple sells out of them). It's a negligible decrease in performance for a $270 lower price. That's a no brainer as far as I'm concerned.

Agreed, you're getting basically next to nothing for the $200+ price difference

Refurb doesn't matter at all as far as Macs are concerned since they still come with full warranty and stuff.
