Hi,

can you help me make a decision please?

Since they are the same price (for 128GB) in Czech Republic I'm wondering if I should go for a newer 13P with 120hz display (which I never tried or had so don't know what it looks like) and better camera (I possibly care only for the macro shots, nothing else) or pick the discounted 12PM with bigger display and better (?) telephoto. Also don't know when the 13P will be in stock, Apple website says in 5+ weeks.

Right now I have the 12 and I'm happy with it but my battery is at 82% after a year and it's not bearable anymore. And I don't want to pay for battery change since I can trade in my 12 as is for the same money as with a new battery.

Thank you for your advice!

I finallly went with a Max phone because the 6.1 feels like a heavy one handed phone trying to be a 2 handed experience and fails.

If either phone is going to feel heavy or unwieldy because of size, then getting the Max allows me to take more advantage of my phone because of the screen size.

I'd go with a 13 Pro over a 12 Pro Max. As in every way it is a superior phone. All the 12 Pro Max really offers is a bigger screen. Battery life might be a bit better. The batteries bigger but the phone is less efficient.

If your battery degrades much that in a year. You may want to look at changing your charging habits.

If you're just draining your battery fast a couple times a day. You might want to consider a battery case or Apple's Magsafe battery. It's bulkier but you'll get a lot more battery life each day.

If the battery life is a big concern for you, then you might want to consider spending a little more and going for the 13 pro max. The battery on the 13 pro max is huge and will last much longer than any other iPhone (or arguably, any other phone period).
