Which one to get Mac Air or Mac Pro?

I will be travelling to and working in China onshore and offshore, I am in need of a new laptop as I will be using FaceTime where possible, watching movies from my hard drive, playing a few games and finally for work/study as well.
Should I go for the MacBook Air or the 13" MacBook Pro Retina model?

You should also look at the dell xps 13. It has a way better screen than the MBA battery is decent at 9 hours, its made great materials, only weighs 3 pounds, has a smaller footprint(no giant bezel), better keyboard, and looks just as good.

The Dell's nice, but besides having to buy windows 7 for it as I hate win8, no one comes close to Apples glass touchpad. I also vastly prefer 16:10 screens vs 16:9.
