Currently on the iPhone 6 Plus.

Tempted to replace my old phone now that the battery is showing that it requires to be replaced.

Should I get the iP11 Pro or Pro Max?

Am asking it coz the IP11 Pro seems to be already slightly bigger then my current 5.5" and is in a much smaller form factor.

Or should I just go for the IP11?

Go and have extended usage of both, ask friends if they have either device you can play around with as both are great phones but the 11 is big.

Your other option, if you buy direct from Apple you have 14 date to return or exchange the device if it’s too big or too small or for any reason at all.

Personally, the 5.8” Pro is as big as I’d want to go. I had an XR and it was too large for me to comfortably use for a lengthy period.

The 5.8-inch 11 Pro does have a larger display compared to your 5.5-inch Plus. If you prefer the "Plus" experience go 11 Pro Max. Moving from an iPhone 7 Plus to the X was like moving to an iPhone 8 in terms of display size, experience, etc. could not wait to return to the bigger screen. Try them out in store, different strokes for different folks.

Just get the iPhone 11 base model, get the 128GB model. It’ll be more affordable, it won’t break your wallet and you’ll still enjoy this year’s model chip A13 speed wise and all the other goodies the newest models have minus that 3rd camera on the “pro” and OLED, unless you’re willing to fork another $501 for just about the same thing. Think about it, before there were OLED displays Apple would promote dead hard the Retina LCD display, now all of the sudden is garbage

I just ordered the iPhone Pro Max sight unseen. I currently have the iPhone X and love the size, but the regular pro in the green color would have taken much longer to ship. So I just decided to give the Pro Max a shot. I had a 6 plus and hated it but I’m hoping the Pro Max is better since it doesn’t have the big bezel? We have a work phone that’s a 7 Plus in an otter box case....would the Pro Max be bigger or smaller than that? I haven’t seen an XS Max in real life either (that I know of) so I’m hoping this isn’t a disaster lol.

Ok good for you. I can’t afford the “pro” models way to expensive. Honestly I prefer LCD displays over OLED.
