Which OS to use with bootcamp

I have the choice of using Vista Ultimate or XP Professional SP2.. any recommendations on which is more compatible, etc.

XP SP2. Why use Vista? There's no benefit outside flashy UI "upgrades."

i would go back to DOS before using vista... stick with Xp all they way
