I know this has been discussed before, however I wanted an updated opinion on this matter.
I want to use my 27" iMac as a monitor for a gaming PC. I love the Mac, but unfortunately bootcamp isn't cutting it for modern games, thus I need more horsepower. I am going to build a new gaming PC, and I want to do it right. I figured several of you would have some suggestions on what would work with our mini display port input options.
Basically I am looking for recommendations on which high performance video cards would work with the mDP on the iMac using a standard DP to mDP adapter cable and still support the native resolution of the 27" screen. The threads on this matter seem to be about a year old, so I am wondering what is current and proven.
