apple is screwed up and shows my NEW ipod is registered to someone else. which number is best to call them about this? I don't want the phone call to count as my ONE measly support call. god, i hate apple!!

Huh? Where are you getting this "only one support call" info?

Sounds to me like you should be able to make as many calls as you need to resolve your issue as long as you are within 90 days of your purchase.
