It's inevitable that build dates, factory and screen manufactures, and general microscopic scrutiny happens a day after standing in line for 12 hours.
The line is not stressful enough, so you go home and wring your hands, and worry about minutia for weeks.

Mine was made on the planet Krypton. I have dropped it 20 times on cement from 5 feet and not even one scratch. 
Side note: Wish I didn't just make that up. Good thing I have never really dropped mine yet, oh the horror.
