Personally I like those little WD Passport drives, which come up to 250GB now. If you are planning on keeping that 160 pretty full (like with music and photos) I'd say get the a 250GB now. Otherwise the price of the 160GB passport is about half that of the 250.

You can save yourself a lot of money by getting a larger (3.5") drive though; You pay a significant price for the portability of 2.5" drives, including the fact it doesn't need a power source other than your USB port.

With 3.5" drives you can go out and get a 750GB (1TB now too I think). You won't fill that thing up anytime soon. For 2.5", the largest is currently 250GB. But it's tiny and goes with you.

So after all this back and forth, I suggest the 250GB Western Digital Passport. Available wherever fine hard drives are found (Newegg, Amazon, Costco!)
