Hello,
A fellow worker has asked me to help her upgrading her ram since she has less idea than i have. She has an ibook g3 and wants to upgrade her ram. I have checked the apple store and according to the web she needs a 512MB SO-DIMM (PC 133) 144 pins.
i have checked the local store and they have in stock the folllowing:

KINGSTON so-dimm 512mb sdram valueram
or
KINGSTON so-dimm 512mb sdram low profile- value ram.

I know that the best guess is to buy direct from apple store, but there is a difference of 60 euros. Can anybody tell me which is compatible?

I would never put value RAM in a mac. Macs are picky about RAM. I don't know about Europe, but in the US I only deal with Datamem.com and Crucial.com when it comes to Mac and Memory. They both have lifetime warranties and guarantee their RAM to work with specific Macs.
