I'm going to upgrade my Macbook Pro memory, does it matter which one of these i choose:

crucial: http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=A9D8C4E7A5CA7304#

corsair: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/4gb-...0-(1066)-non-ecc-unbuffered-cas-7-7-7-20-150v

They both claim to be Apple memory. From what i can see most users have gone with Crucial but i'm also ordering a Seagate Hybrid HDD/SSD and getting that from scan.co.uk and i could save £10 by getting them both from the same place.

My choice at the minute is basically based on saving £10 but if the Crucial is better i'd rather pay it, if there is no difference at all i'll get Corsair and save

Any help?

everyone I spoke to recommended me the crucial

edit: I can't see how you're saving £10 since the corsair is 4GB at £24 while crucial is 8GB at £49 so it's more or less the same

btw scan will charge you about £5+ for shipping while crucial will ship it for free (ordered a memory stick and went for the free delivery, they still shipped it 1st class)

I NEED them both on Thursday so buying separate will cost me £10 shipping to get next day with Crucial.

Hello, i was going to buy more RAM for my mid 2009 MBP.

Does it need to be buffered/unbuffered, ECC/Not ECC ?
