My 15 inch macbook died on me,mainly I use it to watch movies online and download movies only.which one is more better high end or low end?

The go with the 13" rMBP with 256GB SSD and 8GB of ram. You download movies, that 128GB storage will fill up quickly. The 4GB ram may be too meager, people have reported performance issues with Mavericks with 4GB. Since it soldered on, I'd recommend 8GB for now and the future.

yeah, definitly get 16gb of ram, since watching movies is very demanding .
You also might want to multitask with email and webbrowsing somtimes :D

the midrange 13" rMBP seems to be the best value to me right now. I wouldn't get less than 8GBs of RAM if you plan to keep it for many years.

Why spend so much on a machine you only do that on? You can buy a cheap windows laptop for 1/3 of the price if you're really only going to watch movies in bed on it.
