I'm pretty much set on dropping the extra cash on the higher resolution display simply for the anti glare. I use my laptop primarily at work and the glare from the windows behind me would drive me nuts without it.

15.4" HR AG ftw. 17" is too big for my likings and 13" is too underpowered if I wanna game a lil bit. Good luck with your choice.

hi res 15" glossy. guessing there would be more if they carried them in store like the AG models...guessing a lot of people don't like dealing with CTO orders in case there are problems etc.

I chose the glossy 15" in "standard" definition.

I would have preferred the higher definition screen, but purchasing through Amazon saved me about $250, so that customization alone would have cost me ~$350, and I couldn't justify that cost.

For what it's worth, I'm very happy with my screen. :) Good luck with your choice.

PS - Everyone has their preference, but I've noticed that much of the glare can be mitigated by using the screen's highest brightness setting (when needed).

Ordered the 15.4-inch 1680-by-1050 resolution (glossy) for my wife. Can't wait for it to be delivered and see how it is (If I can pry it away from her! :D).

They do carry the 15" i7 (base) AG screen in the apple store. Only in the apple store though.
