I purchased a used iPhone 5C for ATT on craigslist. Which service would you guys recommend for unlocking it? I had a good experience with swiftunlocks but those days are gone now and they do not unlock iPhones anymore. Which online service would you recommend for unlocking? I my self do not have ATT and have TMobile.

Thanks.

Since the new ruling, AT&T has an official unlock policy, theirs is after 6 months on pre-paid. Look for the T-M policy.

Should of bought a T-Mobile 5C instead. An unlock will you cost $100+. Sell the AT&T 5C, cut your losses (if any) then buy the T-Mobile one. Or switch to AT&T or one of theirs MNVOs.

I need to do the $100 unlock, that is the whole point of my post. I am asking which unlock provider I should go with since I don't want to get scammed.

Is there anyway to unlock by jailbreaking now a days? I know in the old days they had ultrasn0w and such.

man guess i will bite the bullet and pay chronic 130

i'm in same predicament as the OP.

selling mine and rebuying on CL seems like quite a hassle..

Now it does for sure. When unlocks were around $3 you could make money. I made the most I could. Now it's over.
