I wouldn't think there would be a difference. Pay for the extra shipping, and buy whatever one you want.

You're going to have to ask Apple if you can get the $100 off the printer.

Depends on which new and refurb MBP model you're looking at. New 15" MBP's currently will ship in 7-10 business days. Refurb MBP's will ship in either 1-3 or 3-5 business days, so But I say you'll get the refurb faster.

Yes, as long as you remember to send in for the rebate.

I believe that's correct. If you need the MBP sooner, you can always walk into a physical Apple Store and just pick one up there.

Haha, I am not that lazy. I've actually been calling my 2 apple stores daily that are a reasonable drive away and they've been out of the 15" matte MBPs for about 2 weeks.
