Hello guys new here this is my 1st post.

Its just that at the moment I owen and Iphone 2G and have had and Ipod touch before and I am looking to upgrade know I am looking at two options.I either want a Iphone 4 or and Ipad (1st gen).

My question is which should I go for if a want a new/more fun experience to the one I have had with pervious apple products .

Also will the Ipad 1st gen be getting the IOS5 update ?

Thanks guys.

Well, do you want to be able to make phone calls from your new iDevice?

One is a phone, one is a tablet. Two quite different things.

Dont mind it wouldnt be a major problem not beign able to make calls I could just get a cheap phone and an Ipad if the calls are the major difference.

Whichever will improve your grammar. :p

(Just kidding!)

I agree with the post preceding mine.

For something more funner, I'd go for a puppy. If you want a different experience, get _____; I'm sure it will be a big change from the ______ you're using right now, and may even allow you to _______ while you're _______.

What is the kind of experience you want?

With the iPhone 4 you have the Retina display that will make you hate anything else, the processor is way faster than the previous devices you have used.

The iPad is kind of big for my taste, I get tired of holding it after some minutes using it, in the contrary the iPhone is more comfortable.
Even the iPad screen is bigger its resolution is not so good.
The iPad 2 cameras are terrible.

The iPhone 4 cameras are way better, the rear camera in particular with the flash, and HD video capabilities.
The GPS and compass are another things that can give you more useful apps.

if you can wait a couple of months, after the new stuff comes out any of the previous models will be sold at a lower price.
