(Ignore the colours, I intend on getting my watch in space grey with the black sports band unless anyone thinks another band in the price range is superior).

The Apple employee said he thought the 38 looked better on me. However one of my friends said they thought it looked like a toy on my wrist.

Here's a not very good picture, but it's the 42mm a bit further away: https://i.imgur.com/jceNxl7.jpg

I care about how I look more than screen size/whatever.

The two different colors make it hard for me to decide.
I’m not really a fan of the 38 if the person can get away with the 42.

If you’re going space gray then the 38

Yeah it's annoying, unfortunately they didn't have any darker bands available to try on

So you don't think I can really get away with the 42?

I think that is apples shortfall with the watches.
I can only image the bands tend to walk off. More times than not the stores I frequent

I thing the 42 will be fine.

I have seen a number of 38 space gray on people with Large wrists than yours and they look fine.

The darker Watch is a little more flexible when it come to sizing options.

I'd opt for the 42, I don't see much difference between the two

Thanks. But just imagining they are both space grey, from a complete fashion perspective what looks better to you

Thanks, so imagining they are both space grey, from a complete fashion perspective, which do you think looks better on my wrist? Sorry to put you on the spot I'm the most indecisive person in the world

Thank you, yeah the 42mm doesn't go over my wrist, it's smaller than I worried it might be. Although saying that, the 38mm is bigger than I expected it to be

Angles. Its all about angles. You are angling your wrist to flatter yourself. What does it look like from 4m away when you walk into a room or out on the street? Most people the 42mm looks stupid. Look around you at others.

I don’t see much of a difference either. I got the 38mm for myself, but I don’t like the look of something overly large, and I have very tiny wrists—like 5.5 inches around. The 38mm is fine for me, but I can barely tell the difference in them on you.

Go for the 42. I went for the 38 being a man but with very narrow wrists. The functionality is a lot better on the 42 and after changing to the 42 for my series 2 I realised it doesn't look too big at all. The fact you can't decide instantly probably shows the 42 isn't obviously too big on you.

I think the 42mm space gray looks nice on you! I wish I could pull off the 42 but my wrists are just so tiny.

I went for the 42. I realized it really wasn't that much of a difference. And like someone else said, the fact that when I tried it on I didn't instantly think "this is pretty big" kind of reassured me too.

Looking forward to it! (I'm left handed hence it being on my right arm :D)
That looks very fitting on you! Good choice.
