Which ssd for 27" imac ?

The ssd would be fitted as a 2nd drive in the imac all done by authorised reseller so i wont lose the warranty. The only thing is they dont stock any ssds so i need to bring my own. So if it brakes applecare wont cover it. I could also replace the original 1tb hdd for something else, any suggestions on that?

Why not just use one SSD drive, and then use an external hard drive for file storage?

Anand has been recommending the Samsung 830 of late.

I have the Intel 330, it's good but wish I'd gotten one of the above as FileVault performance with the 330 is balls. (FWIW, it's great if you're not encrypting the drive)
