Which SSD for USB-C 4k video editing FCPX on 12 incher

I want to try to edit GH4 4k footage on the Macbook. Which cheap SSD should I get? I want to max out the speed potential over the usb-c 3.1 but don't want to overpay for one that the 3.1 can't take advantage of.

This is strictly to edit footage that would be on the SSD.
