First, I would like to know specifically which SSD would be best for this computer. Please provide links to amazon or newegg or whatever. I understand that it only has a SATA I connection so I should be using a SATA II SSD, correct? The SSD needs to be at least 120gb, but I would prefer over 200. Looking for value. I want to spend as little per gb as possible.

Second, once I get my SSD what is the actual step by step procedure to putting a clean install of SL onto it? I don't have a 2.5 caddy to put it into, and I don't need to clone the current HDD because I just got the computer and it is pretty much clean anyway.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

I would just get SATA III Crucial M4.
Since there are less and less SATAI and II computers lately, SATAI/II SSD costs more than SATAIII models.
I suggest the Crucial M4.
Not the fastest for a SIII computer but enough for SI/II comp.

EDIT:
Forgot to mention, these SATAIII drives are backward compatible so it can run on SI/II comps.
No need to worry about that.
