Hey guys sorry to have to start up another thread, but as I have limited time , I can't afford to scroll through the sticky. I have a relative who's gonna be coming back from the states on the 20th, and I would like to have him bring an ssd back for me due to the cheaper price. While I'm at it , I'm basically stuck with 2 options . The crucial m4 512GB ($400) OR the samsung 830 512GB ($530). Is the increased write speed of the 830 worth the 130 dollars extra? I'm going to be installing it in a 2011 15' MacBook Pro. Mainly some light gaming and photo editing with a 50GB photo library . How bout reliability of either drive? I can't afford to have it DOA on me :) thanks for reading this overly long post .
