I have a 2011 13"MBP with Intel 120GB SSD and I was planning to get a 250gb or 500gb sata3 ssd eventually. I have the trimenabler enabled right now. Are there good SATA3 SSDs with good garbage collection - then I wont need the trimenabler patch.

Given the age of your Macbook, you probably would've qualified for the Lion Up-to-Date programme, and therefore will be running 10.7.

Lion Added support for TRIM, therefore, while OSX handles SSD data better than Windows in many cases, it also now supports TRIM. Any SSD will be fine, but I would recommend an OCZ Vertex 3 as they have the newer Sandforce controller, which compresses the data onto the memory cells in real time, further increase its performance on top of its ridiculous R/W speeds.
