a) new mac mini M2Pro 10 core cpy/16 core gpu/16 core neural,32 gb mem,1tb, 10 gig ethernet...$2,574

b) refurb M1 max studio 10 core cpu/24 core gpu,32 gb mem/1tb...$2,469

Don't know...gotta be neck to neck...B better for video work with bigger gpu I'd think...B nicer i/o ports...A newer wi-fi / BT / 2.1
