Which torrent app is best?

I was using transmission previously, but since uTorrent is out for mac, I have to switch to it.

i'd say transmission out of all of them right now

im currently using the utorrent beta and im liking it right now. so i'm staying with this for now. i suggest that you avoid vuze unless you got the RAM to spare.

i've been using vuze a lot lately, i was glad that utorrent came out for OSX but for some reason a month or two ago utorrent stopped working.
so vuze has been choice by default. it's pretty good

uTorrent is definitely more for the power users. Transmission has grown ALOT since it first started out. I enjoy it because on the surface it is very simple, but it has a lot more advanced features if you are interested in going that route. uTorrent is very nice as well, but i am a Transmission advocate.

ill say, it was very advanced for its time. for some odd reason it can download torrents faster then Transmission.. the only reason i dont use it is because there is no choice to select what pieces to DL.

Transmission for me...
uTorrent looks promising though, but lack several crucial features. So until they include all the features from the MS Windows version its not worth it imo.

For my needs, Transmission is the best. I haven't used uTorrent on the Mac, but it was my choice on the PC simply b/c it was the best out there.

Transmission is so low-profile. Love it. I don't need anything fancy, just auto-add and a nice UI.

uTorrent and Transmission are both pretty Mac Torrent clients. But I noticed recently that I was getting really poor speeds from both of them.

I tried Vuze, and went through the settings thoroughly and got at least a 10x speed boost.

Personally, i've just become converted to Seedboxing.

I wish I had switched sooner.

I'm getting ratio's of 6.00 to 10.00 minimum constantly.
As for speeds, well anything between 500kb to 2mb UPLOADS as well as downloads.

I've never had ratio's like that ever before.
