which tv tuner ? (elgato)

Hi

Elgato has several tv tuners

and i'm hesitating...

is there any difference between EyeTV Diversity or EyeTV Hybrid in terms of quality, encoding, heat, etc ?

it seems that the small DTT key is overheating so i'm excluding it from my choices

I'm not sure about the diversity, but the 250 Plus has hardware encoding built in where the Hybrid doesn't. I've used the 200, 250, 250 Plus, Hybrid and HDHomeRun and the Hybrid was the worst quality. Keep in mind the Hybrid is one of the original models and didn't do HD recording,

i also have to consider that some keys are running really hot after some time

i have read that the hybrid can be hot even after half an hour

anyway, i need a dvb-T tuner
