i'm planning on buying the new 21" 2.9 ghz imac.
now, i only have enough money to upgrade on of the various specs (RAM, CPU or fusion drive).
which one is most important and are any of these possible to upgrade later on?
thanks

I'd go with the fusion drive, the stock 8gb of ram is fine and the cost of the CPU upgrade outweighs the small benefit.

None of them are easily upgradable later so if u think u might need more ram or something later on I would just say hold off till u can afford it as well I do think the fusion is the best upgrade for most users.
