Hello,
I'm heading over to the states to grab a iPhone on the weekend. Just wondering which version of firmware the ones in store seem to be running? Are they all still 1.1.1 or have some people been finding 1.1.2?

thanks

just got it yesterday and it's 1.1.1

I should be getting one this weekend, and I'm wondering the same thing.

Guess I'll find out soon enough. :)

anyone with more information on this? would be nice to know, because my relatives bought one on saturday and the package's gonna arrive here in europe hopefully at the end of next week. i'm praying to god that it's 1.1.1. and i can unlock it right away. i'm just too impatient to wait for the 1.1.2 unlock :)

I bought my iphone and macbook at delaware apple store on friday (saved $105 for GA tax:D). I activated Iphone yesterday and it had 1.1.1.

so far, I really like Iphone. better than I expected.
Great product!!!!

You'll need to check the serial number before purchasing. The 4th & 5th digits correspond to the production week. From what I have seen:

Week 44 -> software 1.1.1
Week 45 -> software 1.1.2
Week 46 -> software 1.1.2

So try to get one from week 44 or earlier. This will be your best chance of getting software 1.1.1.
