I have the latest version of MBP 2.6, which version of applecare is correct for it. I would like to buy it on ebay and just want to be certain I get the right version for it.

Thank you,

Merlinn

there are only two versions.. One with MACBOOK and the other with MACBOOK PRO. Clearly, if you own a MACBOOK PRO then you should buy the version that's for MACBOOK PRO.

How simple is that?

They were just checking. Be nice.

If you accidentally get the wrong version, you could always just sell it again

Actually, there is also AppleCare for the Mac Mini, iMac, Mac Pro, and XServes, along with AppleCare for the PPC machines.

But yeah, the AppleCare will say which type of computer it is for. If it is advertised as for Macbook Pro, then its the right one.

you don't have to capitalize the whole word. It's Macbook, Macbook Pro, iBook, Powerbook, iMac, Mac Pro, Power Mac, et cetera.
