I need help in finding a video camera to buy.
here is my problem. I want a video camera because I am going on a missions trip to an orphanage in Egypt this summer and I definitely want to capture the memories, it's a once in a lifetime thing and I may never get back. My problem is, while I am there I will have no access to electricity whatsoever!
at first I was thinking okay, so I need a video camera that runs on replaceable batteries. after quite a few people telling me no such thing existed I found a $99 aiptek that ran on double A's. It's really cheap though and of course the video quality isn't that good.
I also figured out that there are chargers that run on batteries. so I could buy a couple of those with me to charge my camera. the chargers run on batteries, i won't have to plug anything in. Now i just have to figure out what kind of camera will work with those kind of chargers and where can I buy them.
I don't really want to spend over $1,000 for the camera. I basically just need an average home-video to cheapest HD camera that I can somehow recharge and be able to use without access to electricity. Also i want it to be a hard drive camera. if anybody can help me i'd really appreciate it.
