Which was your favorite launch day?

This may be premature, but in looking back, I think I'm comparatively more satisfied with the way the iPhone 4 launch was. Granted, at every launch AT&T messed it all up and year after year, they never bothered to learn their lesson. But this is the first time that they added the preordering method to allow many iPhone 4 users-to-be to avoid waiting on ridiculously long lines, and instead, sit at the comfort of their home or workplace to receive their shiny new toy.

But, I do remember June 29, 2007 pretty well, as well as July 11, 2008 and June 19, 2009. Technically, this launch has two dates.

3G iDay was the best.

3G for me. Got out to the AT&T store around 5/6 and was third in line between two really nice super fanboys. The AT&T people brought us water and the Chick Fil A next door brought us breakfast sandwiches and sweet tea. It was actually a really fun experience.

The first because everyone and their mom didn't want/have an iphone already to mess up ordering and activation for me.

I only waited in line for the first launch. That was the best cause it was all brand new. New phone from Apple. The line was HUGE. No pre-orders or reservations. It was actually pretty fun.

However, been there, done that! If I couldn't pre-order or reserve, I don't think I'd wait in line again. I had to take a day off for the first one! I reserved for the 3G and bought my 3GS after the launch.

This launch could be as big as the original but I'm quite happy to have my 4 being shipped to me this time around.

The first iPhone for sure. I waited in line for 11 hours and it was so worth it. I was likely one of the very first iPhone activations, as I live very close to the AT&T store and immediately activated.

What a great experience though. Even at the AT&T store there were some huge Apple fans all around and it made for a great experience. I'll never forget it.

This will be the first time I have participated in a launch day, so i have to say iPhone 4. I got my 3g a few months after the chaos calmed down.

Probably 'new store opening' days. They have the best atmosphere of all.

If I had to choose an iPhone launch day it was certainly the first. Now, everyone and their grandmother has an iPhone, but then it was only die hard Apple fans and was a really great atmosphere and very fun.
