macOS does not have a native option for setting independent scroll directions for the trackpad and mouse. A third-party app, like Scroll Reverser or Logitech Options is required for this.

There still is no way to set independent scroll directions for the mouse and trackpad on iPadOS.

Which direction do you scroll? Which app do you use to set independent scrolling directions?

I also use Scroll Reverser. I like natural scrolling on a trackpad, but it doesn’t feel right on a mouse wheel. I probably could get used to it, but there’s no need for me to learn something new that’s not really beneficial.

It took me perhaps 10 minutes to acclimate myself to natural scrolling, some 15 years ago. Since then I haven’t had to think about it.
